Wetland plants of British Columbia
Print Edition
Through my role at the B.C. Wildlife Federation, I was honoured to serve as project manager for the first print edition of Wetland Plants of British Columbia—the first and only wetland plant guidebook of its kind for the province.
This guide introduces common indicator species found in wetland habitats across B.C., helping both new and experienced naturalists identify plants while exploring these diverse ecosystems. It features clear descriptions, identification tips, high‑quality photographs, notes on similar species, and distribution maps.
Our goal with this guide is to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of B.C.’s wetland flora, inspire meaningful connections to these ecosystems, and support efforts to protect them for future generations.
